Uppermustang trek
The landscape of the Trans-Himalayas is characterized by austere beauty. An extension of a monsoon can conquer only seldom the high barriers of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Therefore the climate of Mustang is dry and continental as well as in Tibet. So the irregated fields and the seperate trees look more colored than the grey-brown surroundings.
Trekking in Mustang is not particularly challenging. However it is a journey through time and you enter into a complete foreign world, which possibly no longer exists in this form.
